Little Webb Photography
Little Webb Photography is a new and upcoming small business started by Amy Webb.
Amy’s just starting out so her subject matter is quite broad - from detail shots to landscapes to babies and weddings as well.
Amy wanted a logo that was clear and simple and that would work well as a watermark over her photos. Her last name being Webb, Amy was keen to draw inspiration from this visually, which allowed us to come up with some really fun ideas.
The moodboard for Amy's brand brought together inspiration from they type of photography she does, line work and graphic shapes that tie in with the style of the ‘web’. We also wanted to bring in Amy's personality and the essence she brings to her brand - friendly, relaxed and happy.
We all agreed to go with black and white for a final logo, though we explored purples and greens - those colours really called to us to represent her calm nature and lively vibe.
We wanted to involve the web aspect but keep away from cheesy or obvious solutions. We worked with a range of typography solutions, shapes and also integrating a camera into the concepts.
The Final Outcome
The final logo is a camera lens nestled within the web. Both are suggestive rather than completely obvious but support each idea clearly.
